Co-presented by the Ching Wan Society (CWS, a renowned collector’s society) and the National Museum of History, Hidden Gems: 30th Anniversary Exhibition of the Ching Wan Society’s Collection features a diverse selection of works from the private collections of members of the CWS, including oil paintings, calligraphy and ink paintings, porcelain, jade, Buddhist sculptures, and bamboo and wood carvings. The Grand Opening was held on January 17.
The exhibition is divided into four sections: A World of Brush and Ink, Timeless Treasures, Refined Elegance, and Floating with the Western Wind.
Liu Kuo-sung’s Midnight Sun is exhibited in the Taiwan Modern Art part of the Floating with the Western Wind section.
