The exhibition Era of Principle and No Principle Interwoven: Calligraphy as a Visual Form takes place at the Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center from January 20 to April 24, 2023. Featuring works by 42 calligraphers and artists from Taiwan, France, Japan, Korea, China and Hong Kong, it explores the influence and ongoing development of calligraphy in contemporary art, aiming to spark new momentum in the evolution of contemporary calligraphic expression.
Liu Kuo-sung was specially invited to create a new work for the exhibition, titled Let the Spirit Freely Wander, Let the Mind Be Pleased.
